Policies & Guidelines
To make sure every visit is smooth, safe, and professional, please review the following policies before booking:
Appointments & Scheduling
- Appointments should be booked at least 24 hours in advance.
- Same-day appointments may be available with an additional fee.
- If there was a mistake on providers end with your lab order and you want another appointment, full service fees are due. If the mistake was on my end, the service fee would be free of charge, milage would still need to be paid.
Cancellations & No-Shows
- Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations.
- Missed appointments or late cancellations may be charged a cancellation fee of $25
- If you exceed 30 miles from Santa Maria a $50 deposit will be required. No refund is granted if patient is no show.
Payment
- Payment is due at time of service.
- Accepted methods: Cash, Venmo, Zelle
- At this time, I do not accept insurance, however, you will receive a receipt which you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
Travel & Mileage
- Service is available across the Central Coast.
- Travel fees apply to ALL services. Please see “Services” on home page to review fees.
Lab Processing
- A valid doctor’s lab order is required.
- Samples are delivered to the lab specified by your provider (Quest, Labcorp, or specialty lab).
- Results are released directly to your provider. I do not interpret or discuss results.
Safety & Compliance
- All blood draws are performed following OSHA and CLIA safety guidelines.
- I use strict infection-control practices for every patient.
Privacy
- Your information is confidential and protected under HIPAA regulations.
Patient Responsibility
- Please provide accurate lab orders and health information.
- Notify me of any conditions that may affect your draw (fainting, bleeding disorders, etc.).
